What are you really thinking? Let's explore our real thoughts "inside Out" through art!
It is hard to predict how any individual will react to life after someone they love receives a cancer diagnosis. Reactions vary. It is pretty certain though that the entire family will be affected. As their world and worldview changes, emotions become hard to identify, live with or accept. Is this the new normal?
We’ll be exploring that sense of life turned "inside out" in our upcoming workshop at Pixar. We’ll explore what that might feel like and how to translate that feeling inside into art. How does inside-outness feel?
As usual, we’re so happy to return to Pixar and we look forward to seeing our friends there in the Art Room again. We will create art with mixed media, collage, acrylic paint and much more with some of the Bay Area's truly amazing artists. The workshop will be held in the art room, in the building behind the main Pixar campus on Hollis Street. Directions will be sent to registered attendees. (This workshop is open to families touched by pediatric cancer and their medical teams. Siblings are very welcome.)
