Katherine Relf-Canas works on researching and writing grants for us. She has a background in corporate communications, freelance writing and Web publishing. In 2008, she launched a workshop company called Serentripity to provide cultural immersion travel experiences. Covering Kids & Art for her blog on the healing power of art led her to volunteering with us, and she is very honored to be involved with our growth.
Kids & Art focuses on the emotional and psychological state of the pediatric cancer family. We strive for an integrated care model where healing through the arts is part of the treatment plan. We team up children who are touched by cancer, their siblings, and caregivers with local artists.
Together they use art as healing to empower, encourage and create memorable experiences.
