Children do get cancer and we focus on the NOW.
We focus on the NOW by supporting the family with regular art sessions for the child and their care circle.
Our mission is about empowerment, encouragement and creating memorable experiences because sometimes the art does stay longer than the child.
CANCER SUCKS. ART HEALS.™
Every day, 43 children are diagnosed with cancer. Once diagnosed, everyday life is turned upside down for the child and family.
Studies show arts and creative expression improve the well-being of cancer patients and their care circles.
If you are passionate about the healing effects of art, you have a big heart with a warm smile to brighten up our pediatric cancer families lives, you would like to volunteer as an artist or volunteer your expertise, please sign up for our UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital 16 week pilot program.
